a) Feedback
My classmates sitting either side of me saw my character and commented on how it would need to look more like a dog. I animated the body, then the features and the fur, arms and feet last so my dog looked strange up until those were done.
I was also told that the narrative of my animation was weak. I originally planned for a joyful companionship that showed an idyllic community that a child might enjoy seeing at a young age but I realised that there had to be some conflict to keep interest. I was able to add the conflict of interests over the cake and Halbert tries to take the cake but falls on it. On reflection, this gives the characters more personality and gives the viewer something to continue their attention.
